A weird distortion..
At a certain RPM, i'm getting a weird distortion in my speakers. Sounds like my exhaust is making the noise, but I ruled that out. It sounds like power is being increased, then decreased at a medium frequency..
Rumm Rumm Rumm Rumm.. and so on. The frequency is about the same as running over the spaced warning bumps in the center of the road at about 35 MPH (no, that's not what it sounds like, and that's not what's happening). Anybody know what this is?

poor ground for either the source unit or the amplifier(s).
or you are running your signal wire too close to a power line.

no idea, stereo was installed when i bought the car..
i'm not really huge on car audio, so you'll have to explain like I don't know what i'm talking about (because that's the case). you're probably right on the poor grounding because my driver's side rear speaker goes out somtimes. I'll check it out and see what's up. I heard it again today though.. Could just be my shitty ass exhaust. It needs to go..
