02 tahoe not starting

when I went to start it this morning I had no gauges, buzzers, or turn signals with the key in the on position. Did have hazards, windows and headlights. Back lights for gauges came on but nothing happens when you turn key to start position. have checked fuses and relays but found no obvious problem. truck was running great last night with no issues. racking my brain and need some help.

You may have a poor connection somewhere in the ignition system as some some lights and components work and not others.

Poor ground connections cause lots of problems.

Starters consume more power than any other electrical user on the vehicle.

Ensure ALL connections are clean and wrench tight.

Remove BOTH ends of the battery cables , clean with a wire brush (there is one made for this minor job) and re install wrench tight.

Check and ensure a clean, tight connection with the engine to chassis ground strap.

Check your battery cables. Make sure they are clean and tight.

Try moving the shifter, maybe the PRNDL switch is out of adjustment. Try strating it in Neutral
