Tornado Air thing

What's up..I've heard good & bad things about that tornado air "mod"..anybody try this?? Does it really work? I'm trying to find a way to save a little gas money. I'm paying about 2.30 (premium) a gallon here..it's killing me. http://www.tornadoair.com is the site for it in case you forgot..I'm sure you all have heard of it before, though.

Don't believe the hype, most of these miricle gas saving, performance improving products are BS. Plus from what i've seen this thing goes in after the air filter right, so on a turbo car it does nothing since the air has to go through the turbo then the IC to get to the engine.

hmm points taken..but that link you gave me is for a motor-driven fan..not a simple fan like this..just letting you know. I just talked to a guy I know who put one of these in..(he's 55, but he still knows about cars). he said it works, he notices it accelerates better..O.o piece of shit I don't know who to believe

If you think about it, you're putting a restriction in your air inlet to your throttle body. Turbo cars work with the least resistance possible in the air stream. If you're that worried about putting this in your car, you could just as well cut up a coke can. I don't know about you, but I removed all restrictions in the air path. More flow = More power.

I thought about getting one of these last year (before knowing anything about DSM's and the DSM club I'm in)....I purchased one off ebay...only to find out...they don't make these for a turbo 2g eclipse to begin with....If you go on their website...enter your make, year, and model...it will tell you N/A under turbo model...I even called them to verify...they do not make any....I don't know if you have a non-turbo car or not

If you're in a DSM club where you are located...ask any of the members for their opinion too....the opinions of the members in my club were strongly against it and said they are crap....coming from guys who could put these motors together in their sleep and know everything about them, I decided to go with their valued opinion (even if they did make one for the turbo)
