old tweety pie kit

here's the Revell model of the tweety pie 2 with some deceint wheels and a wild motor, the motor is out of the Amt 53 studebaker kit which has been rereleased. Sorry about the pic was taken with old camera

In like the 60's thats what the harcore dudes did. Back then the landspeed record was held by "cars" (they were saltflat racecars) with 4 blown Chevy engines.

Pontiacs. Mickey Thompson's Challenger 1 used four blown Pontiacs. I'll assume that's the car you're talking about, since it was the next to last wheel driven car to hold the LSR. The last being Donald Campbell's Bluebird

Revell actually offered in the 60's and again in the 80's a highly detailed, wonderfully accurate, painful to assemble (about as fiddly as a Fujimi Enthusiast series kit, with only a skosh less detail) kit of the Challenger 1. It's well worth building, or grabbing if you need a lot of drag tuned Pontiac 421's. :angel:

Exterior: stock
Interior: Boost and A/F gauge, TV/DVD player, thats about it.
Motor: supra side mount, hard pipes, greddy type s, greddy profec b b/c, nology hotwires, 3 in. turbo back exhaust.
Wheels and tires: stock shitty fan rims with stock tires (no grip what so ever)
