Trunk Open Light

Hi All
I was having trouble with my Door Open Warning light on my dash being on all the time. This time it was the Trunk open light.
Had the Drivers Door latch replaced like a year ago, $175.00 or so from VW and another $130.00 for my Mechanic to change, I try to do most of my work but after I got the Interior panel off, there were too many rods and cables for the amount of time I had to fix it.

Now, my Trunk light kept staying on, I used to get it to go out by "Slamming" the trunk harder and so on. There is a Small Micro Switch that needs to be Adjusted.

I found it very easy to fix and a few Short cuts to pass along, I have an 02 Jetta TDI 5spd Sedan - Remove the interior panel from the Trunk Lid -
Be careful of the Emergency Inside release handle latch cable.
Remove the 2 nuts holding on the latch (I think they were 10mm) and Disconnect Cable from the Latch ( Gently pry the end of the cable where it is mounted to the Latch - it's held in with a small plastic square tab, and turn the end of the Cable to line up the rectangle slot on the Cable end with the Latch, Disconnect Cable and feed thru to the Left as you lower the Panel.
The latch will be connected by a small rod, line the Rod up with the Slot at the other end and slide out.
Disconnect the Wire Harness Plug - gently pry the 2 Tabs out as you pull the Wire Harness connector Plug off.
The Switch is White and held in by the Black Plastic cover on the Latch Assembly, pry up the Flap and remove the Switch, I could see where the Lever on the Switch was making contact and I bent the Lever very slightly and Plugged it in with the Doors closed and the Ignition on and then Closed the latch with a screwdriver and kept adjusting until the light went out.
I do have a few Pictures and tried to Download them, not sure if it worked.
