Transportation to Prom

Hey everyone, I am a graduating high school senior and my date and I have decided not to take the traditional limo to prom. We plan on renting a car because we think it'd be much more fun.... but we have not decided on the type of car we want to rent... any suggestions ????(included pictures would be great!!!

You're gonna have to get someone older to rent it, because most places require you to be 25 to rent a car. But if you can rent one or find someone who can for you, I suggest a Ferrari.

Be careful, if you are not listed on the rental agreement, you will not be covered if you damage the car.

He'll be driving us to and from the prom (because Boston drivers suck!) but we are driving it around back home where there is much less traffic!!!! We'll be ok, thanks for the tip though!

Try checking rental car web sites to see what they have. Some Avis locations have Camaro convertibles. Or you can try to get a Jaguar X-Type at Hertz (around $125 per day).

I think Jag would look classy and its big enough that you won't be cramped like a sports car.

Mercedes G500 (Gelandewagen) sport ute. It looks like a tank, but also looks like money itself!

Mercedes S600 - A gorgeous, huge, V12 supersedan with a ton of presence!

You can rent both from www.bostonsportscarrental.com, out of Boston, right in your own state!!

You can also get a Hummer (original H1 style) from www.exoticrentals.com, also available in Boston.

I'd recommend the G500...it's a Mercedes, classy, money, stylish...plus you won't see too many on the road, and you'll probably be the only ones with one in the whole city. It's a $130K car!! Splurge a little, and rent something AWESOME! It only happens once!

I think if you could get a camaro convertible that would be a great car. You could drive somewhere afterwards and park with the top down on a cool night . Plus with the tiny backseat noone else will want to come with !!!!

Rent any car, as long as it has a spacious back seat!

tell your dad to stop somewhere quiet, give him a buck, tell him to walk around the block, and get down to it with your date!

My friend just took a '58 Impala to his prom. In perfect condition. Beautiful... white with an ugly green interior. A real classic.

If you want to be seen, get a tractor
Or you can try to get hold of an old car, maybe someone can borrow it to you? By old im thinking of 1920-1930's..

Do what we did, get a bunch of friends together and rent a double decker bus. It'll get you much more kudos than any car

Plus you get to have all your friends along for the ride. We had like a dozen couples in ours.
