Question integra lip on a hatch???

i heard from someone on here that a first gen integra lip will fit on a hatch with a little bit of cutting, im just wondering if anyone has ACTUALLY tried it, not just heard about it working? do the bolts line up? does it really fit around the corner of the bumper?

Greg (88_civicDX) has done it... From what I understand, all the bolt-holes line up perfectly, but the teg lip is a bit longer, so you just have to trim the ends...

its 88CiViC_DX :silly2:

Mine is from an 87 integra, the 86-87 lips look like mine and the 88-89 look like a 4th gen civic si lip. both are longer toward the wheels so you have to trim ends off the lip. All the bolt holes line up except 2 which you dont need cause you have one on either side holding it too.heres a pic

I have the later model integra lip that looks like an si lip. all the bolt holes lined up except for the two on the end (minus the two you cut off when you trim the lip to fit lengthwise). All i did was cut two holes in the mounting strip of the lip corresponding to the slots on the bumper and put the mounts from the integra on it.

Is the part you have to trim off long enough so that the lip would fit on a sedan?
