One of the headlights will not go up. I jumped to wires and can see the motor is good just not egtting a signal. When I looked up what controls them it list a Headlight Control Module. I have looked just about everywhere, does anybody know where it is on the car???
Thanks Marlin |

i had a similar problem. check the wiring harnes and connector hidden in the drivers side front wheel well. you got to remove the inside plastic pieces to get to it. I had a wire corrode there and break. When this happened my light would not go up, but if i wound the light up it would go down when the lights were turned off. hope this helps.

Na I got it fixed, it was the headlight door control module, located in the driver fender.

Ah! FINALLY! People with the same problems as me!! My passenger side headlight won't go down. I tried replacing the motor, but that's not the problem. I checked the fuses and they are ok. I tested all the wires connecting to the headlight motor, and those appear to be ok too.
What is the "headlight door control module"? You said it's in the wheel well....what does it look like, and what will I look for there? Is this expensive to repair? (I'm very ignorant about cars, so the more specific the descriptions, the better, please!) |
