I have a 2005 chevy malibu,that the theft protection light blinks,and car wont start,is there a way to disable it or do away with it completely?any info would be much appershated respectfully Don.

the security system is malfunctioning. your not able to disable it. most probable cause is loose conection at ignition switch, witch is rather difficult to get to. or the vats ( vechicle anti-theft system ) needs replaceing
