Windshield washer squirters

2002, Driver's side squirter sprays water but not the passenger side. Tried cleaning the passenger side squirter orifice with a pin. Seemed to have some build-up. Pin goes in now but still won't squirt water. Looked at the hose connections under the hood and they look OK. Main hose runs to the driver's side and a T splits off for the passenger side. Anyone have any experience with this? Don't want to cause more problems if I can help it. Thanks to all that reply!

Re: Windshield washer squirters

Tried pulling the hose off the firewall but looked like I was going to destroy the hose before it would come loose. So, I mixed up a solution of 1/4th vinegar and 3/4ths water and filled my reservoir. After only one day of occasionally using the washers, the passenger side started working. Since it was misting outside anyway, I kept using the washers as often as possible to purge any crude out of the line.

Thank you for letting us know a tip to unclog wiper sprays. I've never heard of using vigegar and water, but if it works. That's great.

Re: Windshield washer squirters

I figured if vinegar works on cleaning coffee makers, it should work on the squirters.
