Ignition Cylinder Replacement

My keys went missing and the GM computer has the wrong key# for my VIN so the replacement keys from the dealer don't work. Going to have to replace the ignition cylinder to get my 1992 Trans Sport back on the road.

Anyone done this? Any tips? Is there a good manual to refer to for a good exploded view to understand what I'm working on?

I just got through doing this just a couple weeks ago. What part are you having trouble with, or did you already fix the problem?
