the GM fix is to disable it ...then they give you a 100.00 .

if they mounted the washer fluid on the / near the fire wall this heating of the fluid would not be necessary...

There are 2 heated washer recalls. The first one was to add a fused jumper harness to the heated washer pump. And the second was only for VIN specfic vehicles where they found printed circuit boards had melted.

#08048C was the first and #10153 just came out in June 0f 2010.

Take your $100 from the dealer... Make sure they cut NO wires on the truck, they should only cut wires on the heater unit itself..
