06' explorer trans. computer update?
Hi, I have an 06' w/ 95k. I've heard that there is an update to the computer that helps the transmission shift properly. Not sure if this was a recall issue or not. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m not sure if this is the same problem, but I have a 06 that had a bump stop condition; it would feel like I got hit from behind just before stopping. Fortunately the condition existed at the used car dealer when I bought the car and they took care of it.
The Technical Service Bulletin is TSB 08-24-4 you can look this up on the web. Perhaps your local dealer will fix at little or no cost. Good luck
