2004 745i Front Pass Restraint Sys Fault ?

Does anyone know what this fault is? I saw a gentleman had this issue on his 2002, but did not state what the remedy was for the problem. Any help as always is greatly appreciated!

Re: 2004 745i Front Pass Restraint Sys Fault ?

There is a pressure mat in the passenger seat that fails and trips this code. BMW is aware and has extended the warranty on these things to 10 yr 100,000 miles. I was very happy to hear this because it is a very costly fix.
