Question 95 Cav Cooling fan not kicking on

95 Cavalier 2.2 liter vin 4 OHV. 130,000 miles
The cooling fan on my cavalier hasnt kicked on in about 10 years. Sitting in traffic the temp gague will go to the point where it should kick on but it doesnt. I tried running 12 volts to the fan and the fan motor works. I replaced a sensor that controls the tempeture gauge , thinking it might control the fan too. Anybody know of the location of another possible sensor that kicks the fan in at the right temp. The parts store(advance) could only come up on this sensor. The one time it licked on was when I changed that sensor and it hasnt come on since!
