Question zc question.

Ok i'm posting this for another member from the other forums....


"hey i know a couple of you have the ZC i am trying to figure out the distributer problem so i have herd that you cant use the EF distributer but you can use the 88 89 integra. but you have to switch some wires. any one know how to do this or have a link to show me? thanks for all your help from everyone"


Can somebody help him out?

i have a ZC but i dont understand the question? you can use a first gen distributor.

timing belt - 14400-pk2-004 (88 prelude)
oil filter - 88-91 civic
oil pan gasket - 88-91 civic si
spark plug wires - 86-89 or 90-93 teg
distributor - 88-91 civic si (with modification) or 88-89 teg
distributor cap - 89 teg 30102-pm7-305
distributor rotor - 89 teg 30103-pm5-a05
head gasket - 88 prelude 12251-pm7-003
intake gasket - 88 teg 17105-pg6-s00
exhaust gasket - 88 teg 18110-pg6-003
water pump 90 civic - 19200-p01-004
ARP Head Stud Kit - VW 1.8 Golf/Jetta 16v WC.

yes you do have to switch wires, and yes you use the teg dizzy, if you are using the plugs from an si you will have switch the entire plug over from the teg dizzy, just put the wires back in color for color and everything should be ok my problem was the red was wore off the one of the white wires, there is 2 white wires one has a red stripe just besure to get those right and every thing else should fall into place.

that is not correct. you use the 89 teg head gasket. I know persoanlly cause i did it.
