d series oil pans
is there a difference between 4th gen and 5th gen oil pans. im gonna turbo my car but i dont have the time to have it all in pieces for days. i need to do it as cleanly as possible. i have a 4th gen oil pan off an a6 but i have a 5th gen sohc zc motor.

D15+d16 stamped steel all teh same,all but the Y8 aluminum ones mang...

I am genuinly interested in your project you should let us know how it turns out in fact i'm curious about the amount of work you have to do... like what exactly what it would entail in the way of internal engine strengthening because of the increased compression ratios
