Re: Check engine light, code P1633

I checked around the net a little bit, and depending on the car, there's like 3 or 4 main definitions for the code.. the standard code that I found for it, is a Generator Overcharge..

Definition of Diagnostic Trouble Code P1633
Audi:Acceleration Pedal Position Sensor 2 Signal too Low
BMW:Throttle Valve Adaptation; Limp-Home Position Unknown
Buick:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Cadillac:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Chevrolet:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Chrysler:TCM Internal - Test External Watchdog Performance
Dodge:TCM Internal - Test External Watchdog Performance
Ford:Keep Alive Power Voltage Too Low
GMC:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Jaguar:Main processor unit failure malfunction
Jeep:TCM Internal - Test External Watchdog Performance
Kia:Battery Overcharge
Land Rover:Electronic throttle monitoring/self-test.Last occurrence - minimum signal
Lexus:ECM Malfunction (ETCS Circuit)
Lincoln:Keep Alive Power Voltage Too Low
Mazda:Generator Control System - over charge
Mercury:Keep Alive Power Voltage Too Low
Oldsmobile:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Pontiac:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Saab:Internal Control Module Malfunction
Saturn:Ignition 0 Switch Circuit
Toyota:ECM Malfunction ECTS Circuit
Volkswagen:Acceleration Pedal Position Sensor 2 Signal too Low
Volvo:Vehicle speed signal

for Mazda it says, Generator Control System. (OverCharge)

hope it helps..

other than this, I am not to sure..
