Front passenger window could not roll down

I thought the motor was bad so I ordered one. But it did not seem to work.

Also, I took another switch from my friend and found out that the switch was good. Then probably the cable was bad? I am wondering how that works. It can only go up, not going down. Does that mean one cable controls the up direction, the other controls the down direction which is bad? How can I check that?

I had the same problem,it could be a broken wire in your harness where the doors open and shut, also it could be the wiring harness on either door also as my problem was in the drivers side front harness but my right rear window would not work

I suspect that also. How did you have yours fixed? How much did it cost?

My right front would not work and I could not roll it down either from the passenger side or driver side switch.

Fixed it myself, just pull the rubber back on the harness wiggle the wires on each door while pressing on switch to see if you get it to work if it does then you can pin point the broken wire yourself

I did not quite get it. I pulled the rubber and then the wires can be seen. But nothing happened after I pressed the switch a lot of times. What else have you done? If the wire is broken, you replaced it?
