J10 Rear end trouble
I have a 77 J10 that needs the rear end replaced. Would any J10 or Wagoneer rear end work?

Re: J10 Rear end trouble
Their should be a tag on it with the gear ratio. Any good scrap yard can help you with this problem.

Re: J10 Rear end trouble
rhandwor's right about the gear ratio; if you're 4wd then the ratios must be the same front and rear.
I think they used pretty much the same axles, at least until the Wagoneer changed from the full size V8 to the Cherokee-sized 6 cylinder.
