Lowering the car won't make the spring rates higher. But when you lower the car, you should raise the spring rates, to keep from bottoming out. I have my car lowered using Groudn control coil-overs and agxs. I am running 340lb front springs, and 250lb rear springs. I know others are running softer springs, but i also don't know how low their car is, in comparison to mine? How low you want to go, will affect what spring rate you should get.

Right now I'm the only one I know running lower rates on a P10. I found the 340/275 too jiggly for my tastes, so I'm now running 275/200.

I have the car as high as I can get it with the GCs and those springs. It's still pretty low. I'd like it about 1/4" (.5 cm) higher. Most of my bottoming is gone, but I think the extra 1/4" would make a big difference. I'll probably try the Koni closed cell foam bumpstops. They are progressive and may be all I need.

I really like the lower rate. Other than the very occasional bottoming, they feel extremely good.

300/225

I have a '91 P10 with AGXs and just started to install my Ground Controls tonight. I went with 300 front/225 rear (based on some solid sounding advice from people in the forums like George). Hopefully I'll be able to tell you how they are by the end of the weekend.

Wicked cool!

Where are you located? I'd love to see what the difference between the 275/200 and the 300/225 is.

I've been running intrax/agx for about a year and a half now and just ordered some 340/250 GC's. Does anybody know what the front/rear spring rates of the intrax's are? I know they are way too soft for their height. I'm just trying to gauge the difference by using the intrax rates to compare.

There is no comparison. I went from the intrax to the GC/AGX combo and the ride quality was soooooo much better with the gc/agx combo it wasn't even funny. The GC's feel softer... as they are not always on the bumpstops like the intrax were (for me).
