350 engine in 1950 Buick Special
I have a chevy 350 and automatic trans set in place and it looks fine, but the steering gear box is going to interfere with the left side exhaust. With no manifold on I have 3 1/2 inches between the exhaust port and the steering box. It looks to me like my options are (1) install a Mustang II front end (don't want to spend the money), or (2) custom headers. Any other thoughts or suggestions?
