So my battery is good and the car wont start
so it has to be my starter because my battery never died so i know the alternator is charging the battery. Ok i worked no my eclipse's starter before and it was easy but for my prelude seems harder so i need some step by step guide for replacing the starter any one has any links or anything that can help me?Thanks in advance!

Re: 00 Honda Prelude Starter Fix
If your battery never died it does not mean it will last forever.
Did you check your battery voltage? Does the same voltage get to the starter? I do not know what kind of engine you have in your prelude, but if you decide to go after the starter, in the Accord forum there are links for repair manuals. See if it is going to help you. Good luck, Sam

Re: 00 Honda Prelude Starter Fix
well i started on my own and removed everything except one of the 2 bolts that holds the starter to the frame is the bolt closes to the inside of the car, i have barely any space to get my wrench in the bolt and have no idea how to get it out, and i just looked through those manuals and it dosent explain how to take it out so im stuck
any ideas?

Re: 00 Honda Prelude Starter Fix
I have never removed starters on Hodas. Sorry!
Try to ask the question on Google's Honda groups. Guys there are pretty knowledgeable. Another good source of information is www.tegger.com. Good luck, Sam
