2000 Chevy Tahoe Limited Keyless Entry

IF HAVE HAD MY 2000 CHEVY TAHOE LIMITED FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF NOW AND JUST NOTICED WHEN I PRESS LOCK ON MY KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE IT ONLY LOCK MY 4 SIDE DOORS AND LEAVES MY BACK TAILGATE DOORS UNLOCKED! IF I PRESS THE REAR 2X BUTTON ON MY REMOTE IT UNLOCKS THE REAR BACK DOORS, IF THEY WERE LOCKED WITH THE KEY. I WAS WONDERING IF I REPROGRAMMED THE REMOTE WILL IT LOCK ALL DOORS?

The Lock button should lock all exterior doors.
If not then there is a problem with a component, and reprogramming the transmitter will probably not help.

Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver connector.
Connect a test lamp between cavity R and ground.
Press the LF door lock switch to the lock position.
Does the test lamp light?

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between the remote control door lock receiver and S261. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
