passenger side front window
I have a 01 loaded caravan that im working on. the front passenger window will not go up or down. I took my multi meter to the motor and i get any where from 60-90 ohms resistance. and i also tried running a couple of 14 gauge wires strait from the battery to the only two terminals on the window motor and i get nothing. dont go up and it dont go down. so i would assume the window motor is shot... any thoughts ?

Re: passenger side front window
If you're getting 12vdc at the motor connection with the switch engaged then yup, motor is shot. Change the window regulator assembly. That's the motor, cables and guide rails as a package. Can be had for as little as $50.

Re: passenger side front window
Replaced the drivers side regulator on my 2001 GC a couple of months ago. First time doing it, very carefully, took 4 hours. Has worked great since. I got mine on ebay.

Re: passenger side front window
removed the door panel remove the window regulator connector, install multi meter, set to voltage, operate window, should have +battery voltage in one direction, and -battery voltage in the opposite direction, also pound on the motor while in the down direction
