Noobie needs opinion on suspension package

Ive been looking into getting my car lowered, and since I got quite a bit of money right now, I think Im gonna get springs and shocks all at once. Ive been looking at this one Tokico kit on Group Buy Center which consists of Tokico HP shocks and lowering springs.

Here is the link- http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.aspx?id=10047

Do you guys see anything wrong with this kit? Any opinions on it?
I just want to lower my 99 Civic about 2", and still have a decent ride. Ive got 17" rims if that matters any also.

Also, could I install them myself? cus I have access to a spring compressor. If I couldnt, how much would it cost to get a professional to do it?

Any other info you could give me about lowering would help a lot. Thanks.
