find an illegal shop theres no way in hella you'll get it to legally pass, its got insane since they changed it a few months ago they were telling me there failing 1999 year cars on a regular basis as well as when she gave me the sad news mine flunked it was like 350 over the max on one of the levels.

exactly why lisa doesnt have a b16 in the plans, it sucks for us, i could get an illegal smog and probably could rely on that hook up for the next couple years but what about after that, you know you cant depend on things that far in advance

Will any of those fuel treatments work for you guys with b16's?

We have a few products over here that guarantee you'll pass the test. (Not sure how bad it frucks up the car though...)

When I bought my civic in February the dude said it passed the emission test here but he didn't have the paper. So long story short, since I didn't have the test paper I had to get the test redone and it failed miserably.

The dude who sold me the car must have gotten it done at a friends shop or some shit and got a fake pass. I had to get a full tune up done, replace the cat and o2 sensor and then it passed with flying colors.

if you aren't exactly wanting to go the illegal route... you can go to the cali ref and admit that you have thr B-16. Then instead of basing it off your old engine it gets based on your new one... only prob is that your insurence finds out... (That is what i have heard)

get the b16a3 out of the del sol vtec to be fully legal, then you should be good to go cause it came out of a usdm car.
