Question sway bar help on 04 ram !

I recently replaced the end links on my 04 ram 1500 2wd and over a period of three months i noticed that the bushing side of the link that connects to the sway bay wasn't really sitting right and was chewing up one side of bushing. Its like once that it was snugged down the bushings would get pinched and weren't sitting right. I got just the bushings from the dealer now and i'm wondering if the sway bar is supposed to sit at a certain angle to keep those bushings in good shape. . . any suggestions or tips ?

Re: sway bar help on 04 ram !

no nothing bent but i came to the conclusion that the bushings were getting pinched because i was tightening everything up while in the air and suspension sagging and when the truck is at ride height everything is sitting different. So i snugged it down while up, dropped it and tightened everything once at ride height. i was careful not to over tighten ...thanks for the input !
