Ferrari 512M '71 - Kit by Hiro

Model Factory Hiro did it again!
Apparently, they will issue another brilliant multimedia kit:

The Ferrari 512M that raced Le Mans in 1971

www.modelfactoryhiro.com

What a gorgeous kit! But it will probably be something like US $ 200!
Somebody please give me some money!

I hate all that white metal, it makes it as fiddley to build as the Union 512S.

That's sweet, but are those solid resin tyres?

If they are, then that spoils it a bit IMO.

I don't want to sound like a complete idiot but what exactly is a "multimedia kit?"

Actually every kit is a multimedia kit, it means the model kit is made with more than one type of material like styrene, rubber, resin, metal etc.

It's called multimedia, when a kit has more materials than commonly available plastic model, which only has plastic and rubber tire.
Multimedia kit usually contains materials, such as resin, white metal , rubber tires, photo etched nickel or copper detail parts, vacuum form windshield, machined aluminum wheel, silk screen decal, etc.
