Painting with Pearl
I was just wondering what colour primer I should use when using Tamiya pearl paint. The pearl seems to be a bit more transparent than the normal colours. I want to paint my next model using pearl red is it safe to use grey primer for this?

I may be wrong but the grey should be ok IF and only IF you put a coat of silver over it as a base for the red pearl.

TS-45 White Pearl is a translucent clear coat with white pearl thrown in, I think. Try spraying it over TS-26 white.
