Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

Hey team
Whilst searching the net for anything rally related, I came across some images of Rossi's Focus from last year's Monza Rally - the absolutely HOT 'Monster Energy' sponsored one. Has anyone heard if these decals are going to be released? For that matter, has anyone heard if there will be a plastic kit release of the latest shape Focus? There's all these great decals available for the last 3 years of factory cars, but no affordable kit to put them on

Re: Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

The 1/43 decals already are released by an Italian brand selling on Ebay, named startup models.
I don't know if he will release a 1/24 decal, but he may if he has some demand.
Especially if a 1/24 plastic kit comes on the market.
I'm French but never heard about that and this brand, so let's see what really happens because making plastic kit isn't something usuall for small unknown brand.
Do someone know more about that brand ? (where are they, can we contact them, do they have already release something...?) I could try to know more about that if someone have a link or information.

Re: Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

Gabriele at Startup Models is a good guy to deal with. I've already asked if he can upscale the 1/43 one's he has to 1/24 as I have the Renaissaince 08 Focus to build.

Re: Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

Some more info for you....scheme is flo yellow with flat black and green Monster markings.
The car ran in two guises....tarmac at Monza....

and gravel at Rally Bologna....

Note the different windscreen logo - Beta logos gone and replaced with VR46 or Pirelli.

Hopefully someone will do these and a kit....please!

Unfortunately Vale overcooked it at Bologna..

Wow... I've never seen it before. The paint scheme it's kinda agressive. I love it. And someone it's telling that a brand is going to replicate the Ford?? Cool. Only for this paint scheme worth it.

There's absolutely no link with Heller.
This kit is an all new tooling, 100% CAD engineered with very good ideas.(Sorry I can't say more about the content of the kit)

It's true, doing a plastic kit is not an easy task, but theses nice guys are also modelers !
For the moment this is their first kit, so there's no catalogue.
They are in "Bourgogne" (71)

Please excuse my ignorance but does this mean that the decals will
be of the "monster" sponsorship logo that were talking about?

Re: Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

Hi all,

I am very excited that we finally get a modern Focus WRC in plastic.
I just could not understand why the bit company’s didn’t make one.
Same for the Citroën C4 WRC.
It prosibly have something to do with licences.
That brings me to my question.
How are is the licence arranged with this kit?
I hope we don’t get dissapionted on this point.
I can remember some RedBull F1 kits wich got discontinued because of a lack of licence.
Especialy if Domino’s want to sell them in Germany.

Sorry for my crappy english.

Re: Rossi's Focus RS WRC...

And why not the Xsara WRC, the C4 WRC, the Octavia WRC...??? Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fujimi have money for these licenses, and it's obvious that many people will buy them, or I'm wrong?? I never understood that... C'mon, Sebastien Loeb won the WRC many times with the Xsara... Who is going to think that this kit doesn't going to be money making??

Regards
