External Hard Drive Problems

I have a Seagate FreeAgent 320GB external hard drive that I've had for about a year. Never have had any problems with it, til now. All of a sudden, neither of my computers can access it. I keep getting the error message:
E:/ is not accessible - The parameter is incorrect.
OR
something about I/O device error

I have a bunch of pics, vids, and music I store on here to keep it from taking up room internally.

Haven't put anything new on it in awhile, so I don't think it could be malware or anything. I've checked on it through managing the device manager, and it tells me that the device is working properly, but obviously its not. What can I do to access my files, just once so I can get them off of there? Any ideas?

Re: External Hard Drive Problems

Could just be an interface issue... Have you tried swapping it into another enclosure or into your PC as a secondary drive to see if you can access it?
