t3/t4 downpipe

Can someone help me find a DP for a t3/t4 for my 95 rs. I have looked all over net and even ebay and I can't find 1 for any eclipse. Or could I use this and just cut the pipe I have now and just weld this to the end?

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

I blieve only 1 company actually makes DPs for the 420a turbo, and it's about $250 if I recall.

I'm pretty sure that ebay listing will have the pipe facing the wrong way as is. You can buy just that flange and pipe and weld it up for cheap. Each one of mine I've done have cost no more than $50 in parts and I welded it up myself.

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

I looked around online and read that the best pipe to get was for an early to mid 90's civic, that it wouldn't be much cutting to line it up for a 420a. I took it to a guy in town and in about 2 hours he called back and said it was ready. He did a great job.

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

That looks pretty decent. How is the waste tueb going to get ran?

May I make a suggestion... put a 90* fitting on the oil feed line. I have mine the same way, and the hood hit it at some point once, kinked the line, and starved my turbo of oil. The fitting is only like $5, and will save you in the long run. It's a -4an 90* male to female fitting. Just a thought.

Ya I bought a fitting. But it's like the turbo sits so high up, it still hits the hood. I shut the hood and it broke my fitting also. Had to get another one. But can't close hood 100%.

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

Did you put a 90* fitting on the feed line?

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

You can clock the turbo slightly without having oil draining issues. This should fix it if it is barely hitting the hood. Otherwise you might be able to remove that flange adapter thing you got going on and get a screw in fitting, might lower it a little bit also

Ya I have a screw in fitting sitting somewhere I was using before. Thinks it's in my tool box. I'll try to clock it alittle and put the fitting back on and see if that helps.

I'm confused by this. The feed line you have now doesn't hit the hood, but with a 90* fitting on there it does hit the hood? That doesn't make sense. The 90* fittings are tiny

This was how mine was with my bigger turbo sitting right at the front of the car, and it cleared perfectly and then some. I don't understand why a 90* on your setup sitting farther back wont close the hood.

Re: t3/t4 downpipe

The feed line hits the hood also, even without the elbo installed. It's like the turbo is sitting to high up or someting. I got it clock pretty much as far as urs. Scared to go anymore, cause IM not sure the oil will drain good enough.
