1997 Golf gti 16v boost question
I need to know how much boost the aba engine can handle, im gonna jimmy rig a supercharger to it and i jest need to know how much i can run on stock internals:smoka: :bandit:

The ABA engine is a 8v engine, the 16v 2.0 litre ABF engine was never offered in N/A, so unless the car is imported from europe, or the engine comes from a 16v mk3 GTi, we are talking about a 8v engine.
Anyway, people are running 15-17 psi on them, but I don't think that would last very long. Eiter way, i don't think you should run into problems with 8-10 psi with stock compression.
