this is getting old....

i have been looking for a car for a month now. this is ridiculous. everytime i find a car i like i call them and its sold already. heres what ive been seriously looking at:

eclipse
probe gt
94 and up gt celicas
94 and up integras
the list goes on but in the end ive been tooken back to the first car i was looking at. a 89 crx dx. its 1600 dollars. has 115000 miles. and its AUTOMATIC . well my freind can put in a stolen b16 for about 1500 dollars and i would need a shift kit also. i dont know. is it worth the trouble? i need a frickin car bad.

depends on where you live ... if they have inspection or smog or anything like that then you better not go with the stolen b16 idea.

Or maybe if you have any sense of decency, you shouldn't go with the stolen B16 idea...

Don't even post stuff like that on this board... I personally can't stand people who think that stealing is okay, and if you let everyone know that you've got some stolen parts on/in your car, don't expect to be respected in any way. But do expect the cops to show up on your doorstep.

I aint trying to preach to the guy or anything, just wanted to let him know that he is more likely to get caught if there is inspection or smog.

No excuse!
If you dont have enough money then go get better job, if you cant get a better job then better yourself first, it's called an education.

If you mention useing stolen parts, or engines, or anyway do anything to surport car theft you will banned imediatly!
There are to many members here who have lost good cars to ignorant piles of shit who think they just take what ever they want, and we dont what that kind of person here as a member.

hey now ... nothing wrong with an auto ... i got an auto and im REALLY happy with it. i would second that notion of not going with the stolen b16 ...

as for the search ... yea i looked for a month for my 85 rolla ... and had to drive down to san diego from SF ... then it took nearly another month to find my beat to hell 88 hatch that ive had to put nearly 3k in repairs and maintance ... but i have a hatch ... and im starting to warm up to it.
