Talking PT 02 Airbag system reset

Hello everyone. I fool around with some salvage cars and recently put together a PT Cruiser in which I had to replace both front airbags and the driver side airbag. The problem is I don't know much about resetting the system. I assume I have a bad module with a code? I have an obdII scan tool but it won't read srs codes. What I was wondering is how many modules are in this vehicle (and where are they)and if I can just buy the modules on ebay and install them. The last thing I want to do is roll this thing into the dealer. An help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Don.

Just tell all of us what would make you even try when you can buy one for really cheap. Good luck friend.

Re: PT 02 Airbag system reset

I don't know if the PCM will reset everything , possibly. Best bet is to hit your fence at a safe speed. I would not recommend peeing around with something that can save your life. Take it to someone who knows. best of luck friend.
