Anyone with an automatic P11?
Reason I am asking is because George mentioned to me that in the automatic P10s, they have dual core radiator as oppose to the single core that's on the stick shift. I tried calling the dealer but they dont know what i am talking about so can any one of you, with automatic P11, check in this for me? Thanks

Well I have an automatic 2000 so I can take a look, but I'm not sure where to look and how I can tell if it's a dual core or not. Let me know and if someone doesn't reply before me, then I'll tell you what i find.

Yea I got a 2002 Auto but I dont know WTF you are talking about. Tell me what to look for and I can tell you what you need to know.

ok..you guys know where the radiator is at right? i have a single core and it's pretty thin with a fan attached behind it. if y ou have a dual core, that just means your radiator is thicker. from memory, i think my is about 1inch thick? so if you have dual core, it'll be thicker.

Off th top of my head I think it is a duel core. Im not sure but I will go look at it tomorow. If it helps you there are also two fans behind my radiator (you said there was one on yours).

Well the auto/man. do have different part numbers for the P11...

If the auto radiator has dual core, it may be because it incorporates an auto tranny cooler into it - point being that some of the cooling capacity may be used up by the tranny cooler. If it the tranny cooler consists of just a pipe run through the bottom tank, then that's all good. However, if the tranny cooler actually uses some of the radiator core volume for tranny fluid, then you may not necessarily get more engine cooling by using this radiator in a manual car.
