HI,

I have a nissan maxima 99. Recently the car have jerks(engine misfire) while in low idle while in drive mode (500-1500RPM). The problem goes away when i put the handle to neutral. Any help is greatly appreciated.

a. Disconnect MAF. If the symptoms disappear, replace MAF.

b. Coilpacks die by the mile; they may start droppin after 100k miles. Only replacement helps in this issue...

c. Get the error code (if any) and hope for best.
