engine misfire on Maxima 99

Hi,

I have a nissan maxima 99. Recently on low idle (500-1500RPM) i will get jerks(possible misfire). The misfire only happens when the car is in drive mode. If i put the handle to neutral problem seems to go away. Any advise is appreciated.
