Many Problems!!

i have a 99 se2 with the 3.4 v6...and im having many electrical problems!! The car was nonoperational for a year and a half..i had it fixed and when i got it back many things aren't working...such as, my key less entry i tried everything , programing and a new battery but nothing , cruise control, driver side lock button, my gauge needles don't do that sweepy thingy at start up..and the car doesn't chime at all anymore, my headlights dont come on or turn off automatically anymore....DRL's work fine tho...oh and my a/c only works on fan setting 3 4 and 5 only...ugh...please help, my husband is away on a trip and i wanted to surprise him because he loves this car but it would be a sucky surprise if hes saw it like this...all problematic!! please help

Couple of things to check...open the drivers side door and look at the side of the dash...you'll see a panel cover for the fuses with a spot you can slip your finger in...pull it out...check on the panel there is a fuse diagram...look for the items that aren't working and their associated fuse (if you have the owners manual look for the section on fuses and it will ahve the diagram as well if its not on the panel) pull those fuses and check to see if the element inside is still connected...if you have a multimeter you can do a continuity check across the the elements to see if they are good...replace with good ones if they are blown. Also check under the hood for a black box near the battery...should say fuse panel or something to that effect...it should have a screw holding the top on...unscrew it and check on the inside for the fuse diagram as well...do the same for it checking fuses associated with the problem components...hopefully that will correct your problem...if not post results and we'll go from there
