92 Cherokee relay

Where is the relay located for the rear wiper motor on a 1992 Cherokee
Laredo? It's not under the hood and I didn't see it under the dash.

its part of the wipermotor assembly if i recall correctly and the motors usually fail rather than the relays themselves

Mastertech, the wiper motor is fine, the fuse is fine. The relay that goes to the rear
wiper motor looks exactly like the one for the fuel pump for instance. I know this to be
true because I have seen the wiper motor relays for sale online before. It has 5 terminals
and a bracket so that it can be attached to a fender wall or some other part of the
car. The part that mounts onto the wiper motor frame is not the relay.

ok i checked information and your right its not on the motor but it is in the tailgate just below the window just to the side of the motor. so much for relying on memory instead of looking at the friggin book.

I pulled the panel off the tailgate and there is no relay to be found back there. Are you
sure your looking at the right model and all that? It's a 1992 Cherokee Laredo. I went
over every inch of the tailgate and no relay.

its what the component locator in all data showed for the 92 jeep cherokee rear wiper relay ill have to see if i can figure out how to copy the picture and post it here
