Water leaking through the glove compartment

Okay experts, I need some quick help. I live in TN. and here lately we have had our share of rain. Everytime we get a heavy rain, the place inside my glove compartment where the vent filters are, It is like a waterfall coming inside my van. The van is a 2000 silhouette. What is happening here? I can see on the outside where the vent starts, but why is it leaking like this?

Thanks for any information

Quite likely the water drain tube is plugged. You'll have to remove the plastic screen to access it.
When you do, shove a piece of weed trimmer line down the tube.

Yea, good advise. Use stiff weed whacker line, the extra heavy stuff.
