2000 Accord EGR and decarbonizing
I have a 2000 Accord 4 cyinder EX. Recently I had a check engine light. The error cord was 0401- insufficient flow through the EGR valve. I replaced the EGR valve and knew that I was supposed to decarbonize the ports below. I didn't know what to do so I sprayed carb cleaner wherever I could. The error code returned with the new valve. Now I think that I really have to decarbonize below the EGR valve. Do I have to remove the intake manifold to get to the ports I am supposed to clean out?
