Airbag light stays on

Anyone out there know why my airbag light has suddenly come on and stays on? I've not had any recent bumps (save for the ididots who hit your car and run away). I've been told there is a recall on the airbag sensor.

yea my light stays on to. ur right about the recall i got mine in the mail. i have to call the dealership and make an appointment for them to fix it.

What year is the car? A lot of the civics have issues with with the seat belt buckles. The repair is covered by Honda because they have lifetime seat belt warranty. First thing you will need some one to get the code. Post it for surther help.
