Re: pass. side door won't open

You have to pry the interior door skin away enough to get to the door latch to release it. Some have been able to do this without breaking the door skin.

Re: pass. side door won't open

I have an 02 LS and had this problem.
First what caused my door to get jammed in the locked position was my kids would lift the door handle while my wife was unlocking the door.
The fix (I found by accident) is simple. I think you need to relock the door with theoutside door handle in the in the up position.
1. Hold up on the door handle and press the lock unlock button to lock the door.
2. Release the handle and you should be able to then unlock it with the switch and the door should open.
Maybe this will help someone in the future.
