New ECU for my ZC
Hey all, I have a chance to pick up a PG7 ECU for my ZC powered civic, and wondered if it will work for my car. Anyone have any ideas?

yes it will work with no problem. mounting is a different story. You'll have to remove the board from the case and swap it with your PM6 Si ecu so it will bolt in. otherwise, the bolt holes dont line up, but to answer your question, yes it will work and probably do a damn good job with the ZC.

The PG7 is the Integra ECU isn't it?
Good job dude...What ECU are you running with it now? That should be a straight plug&play since it is USDM?? Edit - Sorry, I went back and read your sig...I am sure that the PG7 will do better than the Si ECU - I hear they run a little rich, but that probably isn't a big deal unless you have smog/emissions issues to deal with. Let us know how it works when you get it in ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

i agree with them, that ECU is FUNNN, i have one in my hatch. and it works wonders. you will notice though it lets you rev out higher then normal, be carefull with that, you can cause damage to your motor if you do it enough.

um OK the redline on the ZC is 7200rpm the PG7 and PM7 ecu have a redline of 7200rpm how will that cuase damage to his motor?? and if u want a little more UMFFFF then go with some BCPR5e-11 plugs by NGK that will not only help you pass smog but will help you burn off that "extra" gas and give u a little more power around 4Krpm and up to redline i know it made a big difference on mine made my motor a little hottter though so make sure u have a good thermostat and radiator and change the oil regularly

Actually, the PG7 integra ECU has a 7500 rpm rev limit. the PM6 has a 7200 rpm rev limit. I have verified this with my Field SFC-VTEC, which has a digital tachometer. the tach in the dash shows about 7800rpm, its very innacurate.

Oh yeah, one other thing...
Everyone keeps talking about how the teg ecu gives you a higher rev limit, but my Si ecu already gives me a little more than 7000 rpm's now. What gives? sorry, i'm learning html and it's pretty cool...
