Another colour question please people...

I have picked up a set of decals off eBay to do Darniche's "Le Point" sponsored '81 Monte Stratos. Looking at photos I've managed to track down of the car, I'm not sure if it's black or a very dark blue. Can anyone help me?

Re: Another colour question please people...

After what seems like an eternity, I've finally made a start on this model. Helped along in no small part by tracking down a hobby/toy store which had a supply of these kits going 'cheap' at $AU30. They have been this price for a bit but supplies dried up for a bit. Anyhoo…my question. What would the interior colour have been for any of the Chardonnet cars driven by Darniche? Given this was, effectively, a satellite factory team, was the interior white?
As always, thanks for all replies…

They usually were black or raw-metal-like (?!), I don't remember of a Stratos having been white Inside, even the white one(s).

Wow! Thanks Phil. A fairly important piece of painting info Hasegawa seemed to have forgotten to include in their instructions…

True, something that can stop a build being an everlasting question facing building instructions in one hand and model in the other... I know it so good !
