Smile Long live the first generation!

21 years and still going as weak as it was the day it was new! I love my Corolla Tercel. Recently had it in the shop for some major work, I had to drive a Lexus in the meantime - man what a crappy car! I mean sure, the Lexus was faster, and yes it was quieter, but the ergonomics just sucked. The gas pedal made me hold my foot at an unatural angle at anything below highway speeds, leading to cramping. When stepping on the brakes, once you get to very low speeds the front brakes feel like they're going to lock up (the same feeling I get in my 360 when it does) even though I know they aren't locking it's still a bad feeling.

Now the Tercel is back on the roads, struggling to keep up with even slow moving traffic, and I love it. It makes me happy to drive it, it's bright yellow paint just makes you want to smile.
