I have read this web and tried to change my brake pads. After i opened them all, but my brake pads are still good (higher level) then i put them back to the disc brakes exactly where i took them out. But when i drive, i push the brake pedal all the way down (cannot push more). But the brakes seem like don't work, my car doesn't stop. So, i don't know what's wrong with that. I think the brakes don't have air (compress air) to make the brakes work as well. I really need your helps !!!! Thanks a lot !!!

Re: Help on brakes !!
bring this to a professional...
i saw your other post that you put TRANSMISSION OIL into the master cylinder!!!! this major screw up has contaminated the whole system open the bleeder screws & flush it out with at least 2 big bottles of brake fluid then start replacing/rebuilding the front and rear brakes, along with the master cylinder Last edited by ricebike; 06-04-2010 at 02:02 PM. |
