99 Yukon denali, Everything but headlights?!?

I have been searching and reading all about this problem on here and have tried just about everything. I have replace the headlight switch, multifuction switch, and the relays. I have all my lights except for hi and low beam. I have checked all the wires and they all seem fine. I have power in and out of the head light switch but no headlight power at the multifuction switch, Is there something I am missing? I am at a loss.

do you all think it could be the headlamp control module? I haven't heard of to many people replacing these. I really don't feel like throwing another $200 at this problem.

any help would be great.

Re: 99 Yukon denali, Everything but headlights?!?

Oil pressure dropped to almost 0 psi at idle and in gear. Check gauges light came on, replaced oil sending unit and changed oil with addition to lucas oil treatment. Pressure came up just enough to get the light out but I am concerned. Any thoughts?

Re: 99 Yukon denali, Everything but headlights?!?

You might be needing bearings in the motor. when the bearing get worn they will have to much clearance and thats what causes the low oil pressure. basicly the spaces that the oil pump has to pump the oil into is to big and the pump can not build enuff presure. You can try installing a new oil pump, but that might be only a temp. fix. as long as you ae getting 10lbs of oil presure per 1000 rpms, your motor will live. the reason lucus seemed to help is because it made the oil thicker. You can also move up to a thicker oil, likew 20w-50 for the summer. That as well might help prolong the life of your motor.

Re: 99 Yukon denali, Everything but headlights?!?

did you ever figure out the problem with your headlights? we have the same problem. no burnt fuses, cant find a hi beam fuse. headlights worked intermittantly, now they dont work at all. hoping to find an answer before paying a mech $$$ for a diagnostic to find its something i can fix. any luck? thanks!
